Turn a video into a blog post with AI

TubeCMS can turn any YouTube video into a full blog post using AI. All plans include AI blog post generation with monthly limits: 1 per month on Free, 5 per month on Starter, and 20 per month on Pro.

Requirements

The video must have spoken audio with a transcript available on YouTube. This can be YouTube's auto-generated captions or manually uploaded subtitles. Videos without speech (e.g. music-only, ambient, or silent footage) won't have enough content for the AI to work with — TubeCMS will let you know if the transcript doesn't have sufficient spoken content.

How it works

1. Go to Admin Panel → Content → Videos
2. Find the video you want to convert
3. Click Generate Article from the slide-out panel, or open the video and click Generate Article from Transcript on the Edit Video page
4. TubeCMS fetches the video's transcript from YouTube
5. The AI generates a structured blog post from the transcript
6. Review and edit the generated post in the blog editor
7. Publish when you're happy

What the AI generates

• A well-structured blog post with headings, paragraphs, and key points
• A summary for use as the meta description
• The video is automatically linked to the post — a Watch the Video button appears on the published post with a sticky side panel showing the embedded video
• Content that's optimised for Google search (not just YouTube)

Why this matters for SEO

YouTube video content is much harder for search engines to interpret directly than written content. By converting your video transcript into a written blog post, you create a Google-indexable page that can rank in search results and drive new viewers to your channel.

Monthly limits

Credits reset monthly. Check your remaining credits in Admin Panel → My Account.
