Browser push notifications
TubeCMS can send browser push notifications to your admin panel so you never miss a contact form message or support reply — even when you're not on the page.
Enabling push notifications
- Click the bell icon in the top bar of your admin panel
- Your browser will ask for permission to show notifications — click Allow
- The bell icon fills in to confirm you're subscribed
To turn them off, click the bell icon again. This unsubscribes your current browser.
Note: Push notifications are per-browser and per-device. If you use multiple browsers or devices, enable them on each one separately.
What you'll be notified about
- Contact form messages — when a visitor submits your contact form
- Support ticket replies — when TubeCMS support responds to one of your tickets
Notifications appear as browser pop-ups with a short preview. Clicking one takes you directly to the relevant page in your admin panel.
Troubleshooting
If notifications aren't working:
- Check your browser settings — make sure notifications are allowed for your site
- Check your operating system settings — notifications may be disabled at the system level (especially on macOS and Windows Focus Assist)
- Try clicking the bell icon to unsubscribe, then click it again to re-subscribe
- Push notifications require a modern browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari 16+) — they are not supported on all mobile browsers
