Maintenance mode
Maintenance mode lets you take your site offline temporarily. Visitors see a holding page instead of your site content.
Enabling maintenance mode
- Go to Admin Panel → Settings → General, then the Site tab
- Toggle Maintenance Mode on
- Optionally enter a custom message to display on the holding page
Your admin panel remains fully accessible while maintenance mode is active.
Bypass token
When maintenance mode is enabled, TubeCMS generates a bypass token. Share this token with anyone who needs to preview the site while it is offline — appending it to your site URL lets them see the live site.
Automatic maintenance mode
Your site is automatically placed in maintenance mode if no YouTube channel is connected. Once you connect a channel, maintenance mode is lifted automatically.
